Mothers Ergonomic Tire, Wheel
& Fender Brushes.
The good folks at Mothers have just
introduced a line of Ergonomic Tire, Wheel and Fender Well Brushes. Their
timing couldn't have been better because OXO just announced they were
discontinuing their automotive brush line. All of Mothers brushes have a
comfortable, rubberized grip with a thumb pad for exerting extra scrubbing
pressure and an angled handle that allows you to clean tires and wheels without
doing deep knee bends. The new line consists of:
Ergonomic Wheel Brush
- Measuring 10 inches by 4.5 inches, this brush features chemical resistant,
feathered bristles strong enough to remove baked on brake dust but gentle enough
to be used on painted, polished, clear coated and anodized wheel finishes
without scratching. A protective rubber bumper around the perimeter of the brush
protects both the wheel and bodywork from nicks and bumps.
Ergonomic Tire Brush -
Measuring 7 inches by 5.5 inches, this brush features a contoured head to fit
the tire's profile. The handle is raised above and parallel to the brush head
for comfort and the bristles are firmer for scrubbing oils and road grime. Like
their Wheel Brush, a rubber bumper around the perimeter of the brush protects
both the wheel and bodywork from nicks and bumps.
Ergonomic Fender Well Brush
- This brush has a 20 inch long handle capped with a 4.5 inch head of extra
long, chemical resistant, feathered bristles. The non-slip, handle is angled to
make short work of an otherwise grungy job. These bristles, by the way, are
strong enough to remove mud and grime on fenders and bodywork yet safe for clear
coat finishes. Like their other brushes, a rubber bumper around the perimeter of
the brush protects both the wheel and bodywork from nicks and bumps. Use this
brush with Eimann Fabrik Hi-Intensity Cleaner or P21S Total Auto Wash to quickly
remove oils, caked on mud and road grime inside wheel wells and on rocker
panels.
